In 2025, the 10 priciest home sales in the Denver area ranged from $8.5 million to a record-breaking $17 million.
The properties themselves, meanwhile, ranged from Castle Rock to Denver — but Cherry Hills Village accounted for half the spots.
According to data from the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, 5,567 properties sold for at least $1 million in 2025 in the 11-county region the association considers the Denver metro area. Those sales totaled $9.1 billion.
That represented a 5% increase in the number of properties sold and a 7% increase in the overall value of luxury home sales compared with 2024.

4603 South Denice Drive LLC purchased the 22,000-square-foot home on 2 acres at that address for $17 million Nov. 20. The home has six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Outside, there’s a pool and tennis court.
Listed for $20 million in April, the price dropped to $18 million in May. The seller bought the property for $5.3 million in 2016 and completely renovated it.

Details: The Cherry Creek penthouse owned by the estate of venture capitalist George A. Wiegers sold for $10.1 million — $350,000 over asking.
The Laurel Cherry Creek property sparked a bidding war, going under contract just three days after its Sept. 15 listing. Hoops Trust, which lists an address in the San Francisco Bay Area, closed on the penthouse Oct. 8.
The 4,761-square-foot unit has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and terraces on three sides.
Wiegers, founder and CEO of Wiegers Capital Partners and former chairman of Hart Energy, died Nov. 24, 2024. He purchased the unit for $6.7 million in June 2019.

Dubbed Captain’s Rock Ranch, the property features an 11,376-square-foot log and stone mansion built in 1995 with five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It includes an indoor riding arena with eight stalls and a refurbished 1900s schoolhouse.
Brent Redstone and Anne M. Vanderwerken sold the property to Captains Rock Ranch LLC.
Redstone is the son of late media mogul Sumner Redstone, who built the Paramount Global empire. The couple bought a mansion near Asheville, North Carolina, for $9.6 million in 2023.

Larissa Herda was the leader of TW Telecom when it merged with Level 3 in 2014.
