Both 700 17th St. and Orchard Falls are owned by affiliates of Denver-based Toma West.
The building has been in foreclosure since spring 2024.

The owner of the Symes wants a judge to declare it doesn’t owe anything more after defaulting on the building’s loan earlier this year.
The eight-story building was completed in 2020 and fetched $40.5 million the following year.
“The city needs to be open-minded,” he says about a dilapidated LoDo hotel-turned-rooming house. But City Council members are concerned.
“It’s a disappointment — I don’t know that it’s a surprise,” his attorney said.
