Michael Mueller sold the property where Cozy Cottage continues to operate for $1.8 million. He paid $850,000 for it in 2015.
The building is home to restaurants Denver Biscuit Co., Atomic Cowboy, Fat Sully’s and Himalayan Spice, as well as an orthodontics office.
What started as a wholesale coffee business will open its third coffee shop and the owners plan to add two more in Baker and Wheat Ridge.
It will be the first standalone location for Right Cream, which has been selling 400 pints a week for $13 each at the Dairy Block in LoDo.
“It wasn’t in the plan at all, yet here we are,” said XO Gift Co. co-owner Kat Furr. “I saw it was for lease, and kept driving by and had to check it out.”
