Two of the inaugural tenants at the food hall that opened in February are gone. But both are maintaining a presence in Denver.
The Boulder-based home of Budweiser-branded “pajameralls” and denim swimsuits has licensing agreements with about 30 colleges, as well as the NFL.
The grocer didn’t respond to a request for comment, but an architecture firm repping the company has asked the city to permit remodeling work at 900 E. 11th Ave.
The deal is “kind of bittersweet, to be honest with you,” said seller Matt Joblon, noting the two companies that developed the project moved their offices there.
“All the curriculum for our school is embedded in the operation of the two businesses. Math comes in the form of budgeting.”
Tenants include Primrose School, Starbucks and soon, the second location on an Arvada brewery.
The Boulder-based snack maker reported annual revenue of $25 million.
The seller bought the 6,930-square-foot unit in June 2007 for $625,000.
Cappello’s recently launched a line of almond flour frozen pizzas.
It’ll be two storefronts down from Voodoo Doughnut.
