The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Monday, less than a week after the news broke of plans for mass store closures.
The 0.22-acre lot along Champa Street has a single-story retail building on it.
The developer bought the site for a combined $6.8 million last summer.
“We don’t anticipate breaking ground for another year,” said Lenny Taub.
It will fill the space previously occupied by Northside Bronco Stop and Esmey’s Gift World.
The venue is planned for 2763 Blake St., according to its Facebook page.
