“Religious organizations don’t think of or operate their real estate like we in the ‘for profit’ community (brokers, developers, investors etc.) do,” said Todd Snyder, who joined the firm last year.
“That part of Colfax was dead … I did it more for the street than for me,” said the seller, who redeveloped the property now home to Middleman and Q House.

“I think this building has all of those elements that are key to addressing a lot of the issues that downtown faces,” said developer Chuck Perry.
The 475 17th building is 16 stories and nearly 170,000 square feet. “The bottom line is the building is close to empty.”
The City and County of Denver buys a building, and other local sales and leases.
Sawa, filling a space previously occupied by Choice Market, has been a catering operation.
