“Everything is extremely fresh — we get deliveries three times a week — which is why we’ve been so successful,” general manager Poly Sim said.

Somebody People gets its name from a David Bowie song. “We want it to be a restaurant first and foremost, that just happens to not use any meat or dairy or seafood.”
“Wine can be complicated and intimidating, so we’re trying to take that part out,” a co-owner said. “Instead of a patio, we call it a front porch, and inside, it’s a living room.”
The owners of Avanti’s Bistro Georgette are taking over the French restaurant.
