A Cherry Hills Village mansion on 5 acres with a pumpkin patch on the property carved out the Denver market’s highest-priced home in October when it fetched $7.25 million, according to listing service REcolorado.

That makes October the sixth month in a row that a property in Cherry Hills Village fetched the highest sale price in the Denver metro area.

The property – located at 3 Lynn Road – sold on Oct. 26, $945,000 below its listed price. It has been under contract since mid-September and went on the market in early August. The Kentwood Co. was the selling broker.

“It’s just a beautiful estate in Cherry Hills Village,” listing agent Linda Behr said. “It’s on 5 acres and it’s a newer-constructed home.”

The property, which also includes a guesthouse and barn, is on the outer ring of a circular road, walking distance from Cherry Hills Village Elementary School and across from Cherry Hills Lake on University Boulevard. Other outdoor highlights include a stocked pond, pool and spa.

The 12,370-square-foot house includes a great room with a vaulted ceiling and an indoor observation loft. The finished basement houses a bar and wine cellar, a game room and media room with theater seating.

Wonderland Homes and Witkin Custom Homes built the house in 2011. The house was purchased from Deanna and Martin Allen, according to Arapahoe County records.
