For the fourth month in a row, Cherry Hills Village can claim the highest-priced home sale in the Denver region.
A five-bedroom, 10-bath home at 4601 S. Franklin St. fetched $4.15 million in August, according to the Denver MLS.
The 8,000-square-foot house sports a stucco and stone exterior and is arranged in a U-shape around a courtyard. Outdoor amenities on the 1-acre property include a salt-water pool, hot tub and a new pool house that could double as a guest home.
And there’s a six-car garage.
“It looks more like a house you would find in Santa Barbara,” said Susie Dews, a broker with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty who listed the home.
The previous owners are responsible for many of the property’s outdoor spaces, Dews said, building a covered patio, gazebo and lighted outdoor court perfect for basketball or other sports.
“And then it has a great location,” Dews said. “It’s right on the corner of Easts Tufts and South Franklin in Cherry Hill, in the middle of so much activity – people walk their dogs, kids play.”
The property, which sold just days after Dews advertised it in an email flier to agents, was listed for $4.395 million.
Christopher and Rebecca Morley bought the house from Christopher and Stephanie Comfort, according to Arapahoe County property records.
