Ski resorts: Broomfield-based Vail Resorts, which closed its North American ski areas for a week starting March 15, said Tuesday that all but three will not reopen this season. The company said it might reopen its Breckenridge Ski Resort in late April or early May, along with Heavenly Mountain Resort in Lake Tahoe and Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia.
Denver golf courses: Denver said Tuesday that all public golf courses and associated facilities will be closed indefinitely starting Wednesday.
Denver street parking: Denver announced a number of changes to parking enforcement Tuesday. Meters will not be enforced Wednesday. Starting Thursday, drivers must pay meters only between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. On blocks free of posted time limits, drivers now can park their vehicles in one spot for more than 72 hours. On blocks with residential parking program restrictions, residents/visitors with valid permits can park their vehicles in one spot for more than 72 hours.
Malls: Cherry Creek Shopping Center has trimmed its hours. It is now open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, per its website.
