Add one more pending In-N-Out Burger location to the list.
The California-based fast food chain has submitted a development plan to the city of Lakewood for a location at 150 S. Wadsworth Blvd., just north of the road’s intersection with Alameda Avenue.
The site is undeveloped. BusinessDen requested a copy of the development plan this week but had not received it as of press time. In-N-Out did not respond to a request for comment.
In-N-Out doesn’t currently operate any restaurants in Colorado, but the chain expects to open a production facility and distribution center in Colorado Springs this spring.
The Lakewood location is the latest pending restaurant in Colorado to become known.
Here are the other locations in which the chain has shown interest:
Aurora: 14200 E. Alameda Ave., at Aurora Town Center
Lone Tree: 9171 Westview Road, near Park Meadows mall
Fort Collins: 1700 S. College Ave.
Colorado Springs: The southeast corner of InterQuest and Voyager parkways
In-N-Out was founded in 1948 in a suburb of Los Angeles, and didn’t expand outside that metro area until 1990, when it opened its 56th location in San Diego. The company has approximately 350 eateries in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Oregon and Texas.
