A retail unit in Ballpark previously occupied by a pawn shop has sold.
Argentum Development LLC paid $2 million for 2121 Larimer St. in mid-June, according to county records. The county recorded the sale paperwork just this week.
The 2121 Larimer parcel consists of a 6,930-square-foot retail unit on the first floor of a two-story building that dates to 1893, according to property records.
The unit, currently vacant, was previously occupied by Josie’s Pawn Shop. It was sold by Randak Enterprises LLC, an entity affiliated with pawn shop owner Josie Koontz, who purchased it in June 2007 for $625,000, according to records.
The building’s first floor also has another retail unit that is home to pizzeria Marco’s Coal Fired. That unit is owned by pizzeria owners Mark and Kristy Dym. There are two residential condo units on the second floor.
