A quick-service taqueria chain is expanding into its home state of Colorado.
Naughty Chile Taqueria opens Friday inside the Colorado FastBreak convenience store at 4001 Colorado Blvd., according to a news release.
The chain was founded in Denver in 2014 by Shultz Hartgrove, a former Quiznos executive. The Mexican food concept since has expanded to more than 40 locations across the country. Naughty Chile generally operates kiosks inspired by food carts in Mexico, but the location on Colorado Boulevard showcases a new full-scale restaurant concept with seating and catering.
About 300 square feet within the convenience store is allocated to the restaurant, which can seat 24 people, according to marketing contact Grace Markley. Naughty Chile uses licensing agreements to expand its brand, Markley said.

Mexican chorizo scrambled egg tacos.
The chain’s menu includes made-to-order street tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas and nachos, made with a choice of taco beef, barbacoa beef, pork carnitas or beef picadillo. The taqueria chain also offers six kinds of sauces and salsas, as well as pinto beans, black beans and cilantro-lime rice.
It also offers four breakfast options: a Western breakfast with ground beef, eggs, sausage, potatoes and jalapenos; an egg chile blend; and breakfast burritos with pork breakfast sausage or chorizo.
The restaurant will hold its Denver grand opening from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday. Naughty Chile will be open daily from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m.
