Colorado Rockies star center fielder Charlie Blackmon has a new Denver house.
The two-time All-Star bought a home at 401 S. Garfield St. in the Belcaro neighborhood near Cherry Creek in late June.
Blackmon, 32, was drafted by Colorado in the 2008 amateur draft. He made his Major League debut on June 7, 2011. A former college pitcher, the Dallas native has a career batting average of .302, along with 128 home runs and nearly 400 RBI. He is also a two-time All-Star. His four-year, $77 million contract runs through 2021.
In 2016, Blackmon made headlines because he had been driving the same 2004 Jeep Cherokee Laredo since high school.
