A sprawling mountain residence in Evergreen was the highest-price home to sell during the month of February, fetching more than $5 million.

Address: 1295 Silver Rock Lane

Sale price: $5.1 million

Stats: Built in 2010, the 15,800-square-foot mansion has five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The property is on 10 acres and a five-minute drive from Interstate 70.

Listing agent: Christopher Howey and Luisa Staerkel with the Kentwood Co. The mansion originally was listed in November for $5.3 million.

Seller: Harold and Joann Sprinkle, who purchased the property for $850,000 before building the mansion in 2010.

Buyer: William and Susan Floyd. Floyd is an attorney at Hall & Evans, in Denver.

The finer things: Outdoors, the home features stone from Oklahoma quarries and a snow-melting courtyard. The interior includes a wine cellar, seven fireplaces, a spiral staircase and a theater, as well as a large balcony with mountain views.
