Denver-based Tributary Real Estate last week hired four staffers for a new brokerage division. And it can thank the Denver office of Jones Lang LaSalle for bringing most of them up to speed: three of the new hires worked for JLL.
Tributary’s new brokerage division is led by partner and managing broker Andy Cullen, who worked 15 years at JLL and moved over last week.
The team also includes senior vice president Amy Aldridge, formerly a JLL vice president, and associate broker and marketing director Jona Behm, also formerly of JLL.
Rounding out the division is associate broker Daniel Howard, who worked at Evolve Vacation Rentals.
“We don’t experience the same level of overhead as the larger shops do,” Cullen said. “We’re able to spend more time on the transactions given our structure.”
The new hires all started at Tributary last week, giving it a headcount of seven.
Founding partner Ryan Arnold also previously worked in brokerage services at JLL. Tributary was founded in 2015, and also has investment and development divisions.
Tributary has already been doing brokerage work, and the new hires will expand that side of the business, Cullen said. Recent transactions include the sale of Nine Dot Arts’ office condo in the Taxi development and the art curation firm’s purchase of a 6,400-square-foot warehouse in the Highlands.
Tributary also recently helped rebate startup Ibotta expand to a second floor at 1801 California St.
