Nenê, a Brazilian player whose birth name is Maybyner Rodney Hilário, sold his home at 1 Sandy Lake Road in Cherry Hills Village on Aug. 15 for $2.78 million. He purchased the property in 2012 for $3.4 million, according to Arapahoe County property records. That was the same year Nenê ended his decade-long career with the Denver Nuggets and was traded to the Washington Wizards.
The stats: The 10,386-square-foot home has seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. Built in 2003, the house rests on about half an acre overlooking Buell Lake.
The seller’s agents: Linda and Josh Behr with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty listed the property in February, originally priced at $3.87 million.
The buyer: The William J. Derwin Revocable Trust, according to property records. William J. Derwin served as vice president for Otis Elevator and president of pest control company Terminix until 2016.
