Cosmetics chain Sephora is getting all dolled up for its Denver Pavilions debut.

The French makeup retailer confirmed in an email to BusinessDen that Sephora plans to open a store in Denver Pavilions on the 16th Street Mall this summer. The store will be Sephora’s second in Denver, adding to an existing slot in the Cherry Creek Shopping Center.

Sephora is owned by conglomerate LVMH, which also owns fashion brands like Louis Vuitton and wines like Dom Pérignon. The cosmetics retailer recently opened its largest store in North America, an 11,300-square-foot spot in New York City.

A Sephora representative declined to comment on the store’s exact opening date. Employees at nearby retailers said the store will move into ground-floor retail space on the south block of the mall last occupied by Victoria’s Secret, which moved to a bigger storefront on the second floor of Denver Pavilions last year.

Denver Pavilions owner Gart Properties did not return a call seeking comment.
