On the heels of a course renovation, Glenmoor Country Club is swinging for the clubhouse next.
Members of the private country club in Cherry Hills Village at 110 Glenmoor Drive approved a $35 million renovation of its current 46,000-square-foot clubhouse.
The club’s representative, Conor Bancroft, said renovations will include adding a new pro shop to the upper level of the clubhouse, expanding the fitness center, upgrading the existing structure and building four pickleball courts.
The additions will increase the clubhouse’s footprint by about 10,000 square feet. The pickleball courts will replace a portion of the parking lot.
Glenmoor features an 18-hole, par-71 course designed by Pete Dye. The $35 million clubhouse renovation is the third and largest project Glenmoor has undertaken in recent years.
In 2019, members approved a $4 million remodel of the club’s pool and patio, according to its website. Last year, the golf course reopened after a year-long, $8 million project that included building a new irrigation system and redoing the greens.
In addition to the golf course, the country club has two pools, three tennis courts, a gym, an outdoor playground, a restaurant and three bars.

Bancroft said Glenmoor members voted on the $35 million renovation in March, with 77 percent of 685 members approving the project largely “to add missing amenities found at other clubs.”
According to a development application submitted to the city, the existing two-story clubhouse was built in 1984 and was last renovated in 2007. Bancroft added that members have been involved in the design process, and Glenmoor started planning the project in September.
Bancroft said the renovation will be financed by members as well as a bank loan. Documents submitted to the city indicate the club received an $8.65 million loan from FirstBank.
Construction is set to start in January, Bancroft said, and be complete by summer 2026. He added that Glenmoor will remain open, and temporary facilities will be offered to members in lieu of the clubhouse.
Foothills Golf Course, a public course in Jefferson County, also recently went through some changes. It debuted its new, $17 million clubhouse last month after two years of construction.
