The state will auction the assets of a shuttered Hawaiian restaurant in Edgewater on Thursday.
Ohana Grille at 2045 Sheridan Blvd. was seized by the state in October over $81,095 in unpaid taxes, according to a spokeswoman for the Colorado Department of Revenue.
An online auction facilitated by Dickensheet & Associates will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday. The 110 items up for sale include multiple rice cookers, surfboard decorations and a keg cooler.
Ohana Grille leased its real estate, and it will not be included in the auction.
The restaurant serving Hawaiian fusion food such as yakisoba and poke opened in 2,300 square feet in 2017. Chef and owner Rich Braunthal previously told BusinessDen he opened the brick-and-mortar site after success with his food truck. Before moving to Denver, Braunthal had a restaurant in Hawaii for 25 years.
