Professional hockey player Paul Stastny left the Colorado Avalanche eight years ago, but he’s just now sold his Cherry Hills Village mansion.
Stastny, who currently plays for the Winnipeg Jets, sold the home at 4 Cherry Hills Farm Court to Nevada-based entity Stardust Group LLC on April 8 for $10.25 million, according to property records.
The home is 11,898 square feet, according to Redfin, and has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a two-story great room with a wall of retractable doors that open to a large deck and a four-car garage. It sits on about an acre.
The transaction was an off-market deal, meaning the home was not listed for sale.
Stastny, acting as Walnuts LLC, purchased the property for $3.65 million in 2017, according to property records.
The son of hockey hall of famer Peter Stastny helped the University of Denver Pioneers win national championships in 2004 and 2005 and started his NHL career with the Avs in 2006.
Stastny was with the Avs until 2014 when he became a free agent and signed with the St. Louis Blues, where he played until 2018. He was then traded to the Winnipeg Jets and briefly bounced to the Vegas Golden Knights before returning to the Jets.
