OneTouchPoint, a Wisconsin-based commercial printing company, is set to close its Denver office in September.

The firm will lay off up to 70 people and leave its 83,000-square-foot office at 5280 Joliet St. in Montbello, according to documents submitted to the state.

The move comes as the company hands off its local accounts to Mittera, a similar Iowa-based business. OneTouchPoint said in a statement that it will keep its national clients as part of the deal and transition five Denver-based employees to remote roles.

OTP spokesperson Casey Rush said Mittera, which has a Denver office at 5000 Osage St., will hire some of the affected staff but did not give a specific number. Mittera did not respond to a request for comment from BusinessDen.

“OneTouchPoint has notified the landlord of the building,” Rush said of OTP’s Mile High shuttering. “And (I) can confirm that Mittera is not taking the building over.”

All of the production equipment at the site will be relocated to the business’s facilities in Hartland and New Berlin, Wisconsin, and Tempe, Arizona, OTP said in a statement.

According to the trade publication Printing Impressions, the firm has had a Denver presence since 1989.
