An 11,000-square-foot Cherry Hills Village mansion with five bedrooms and eight baths topped June home sales in the Denver metro area, fetching $6.84 million.
The other homes in the top five all sold for more than $6 million, including mansions in Denver and Greenwood Village.
The mansion at 1700 E. Tufts Ave. in Cherry Hills Village, listed for $8 million on April 29 and went under contract three weeks later. Avenir Real Estate Holdings LLC purchased it on June 25.
Susie Dews and Jeff Hendley with Compass-Denver represented the sellers. Josh Behr with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyers.
The property was sold by the Cooper Family Revocable Trust, which purchased it for $1.8 million in 2003.
The home was designed and constructed by KZ Smith in 2004. It sits on nearly 2.5 acres with landscaping managed by Designs By Sundown to provide privacy on all sides and create a park-like nature preserve. The property also has space to add a pool, pool house, sports or tennis court or horse facilities.
The mansion includes five en-suite bedrooms, two dedicated studios, a fully equipped gym with rubber flooring, a lower-level family or media room and storage.
