LG subsidiary lighting up new Cherry Creek office

David Rudnick is looking forward to moving his company to Cherry Creek. 

“It’s a very cool neighborhood and very safe for our employees. There’s a lot to do there; it has a bunch of arteries that feed into other neighborhoods and access points throughout the city,” Rudnick said.

The 58-year-old is the chief technology officer at LG Ad Solutions, an independent company majority owned by tech giant LG. It runs advertising for LG’s smart TVs, car displays and billboards.

This fall, the California-based company is opening a satellite office in Denver at 320 Fillmore St. in a 7,740-square-foot space – about two-thirds of the third floor. 

“The focus is to make it a technical hub of excellence, a showcase area, a place to meet with clients, a place to do really intense innovation,” Rudnick said.

Public records put the cost to construct the new office at $1.3 million, which translates to $170 per square foot. 

“Innovation and invention has to do with opening a mind to unlock things that you can’t do in a crummy office environment – and having a really fun office allows us to do that,” Rudnick said.

He added that he’s been pushing for his company to open an office in Denver since he started working there at the end of 2023, after a two-year stint at Vizio. The following year, LG Ad Solutions opened its first Denver office in the Wells Fargo Center downtown.  

“There’s a bevy of very good television talent in the Denver metro area,” he said.

What LG Ad Solutions is looking to do, Rudnick added, is beef up the technical and innovation arms of the business. It currently has a large presence in India, which is about 12 hours ahead of Denver time. The business demands 24-hour services, so Denver is a natural geographic candidate to do that. 

Rudnick says those in the office will be mostly technical and product-minded employees. It will house a dedicated innovation lab, which will create new tech for the firm. A recent focus has been on integrating artificial intelligence to recommend more relevant ads to consumers.
