A Dunkin’ Donuts franchise might be coming to a vacant lot on Alameda Avenue.

Kolbrook Design filed a concept plan with the city this month to build the coffee drive-thru at 919 W. Alameda Ave., on a strip of land between Santa Fe Drive and Kalamath Street.

The proposed building would be 1,488 square feet, single-story and primarily function as a drive-thru with entrances off both Santa Fe and Alameda Avenue. Kolbrook Design is the architect on the project, according to city filings.

Om Alameda Realty LLC bought the property in 2022 for $925,000, according to county property records. The county values the 0.6-acre property at $1.58 million.

George Hart, chief operating officer for Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee Hartman Holdings Inc., is the registered agent for Om Alameda Realty. He did not respond to calls requesting comment.

In 2021, Arizona-based Evergreen Devco submitted a site-development plan to build a Starbucks drive-thru on the property and had plans to buy the land, but never did.

Google Streetview images show the lot has been vacant since at least 2011. Images of that location do not go back further.
