Brad Speidell, who along with family members built and run cannabis retailer The Green Solution, has listed his Observatory Park mansion for $5 million.
Speidell is chief sales officer at TGS Global, the Denver-based parent company of The Green Solution medical and recreational marijuana retailers. He purchased the home at 2464 S. Adams St. appropriately enough on April 20, 2021, for $3.8 million, according to property records. The house is 7,000 square feet.
Green Solution lists 19 locations on its website. The company sold for $140 million in 2019, according to reports.
Spiedell added a pool with a hot tub and an entertainment area enclosed with folding glass walls. The home has custom landscaping that includes petrified wood and spruce trees that grow like bonsai.
Brody Stinson, the listing agent with Compass-Denver, thinks it’s an ideal home for one of Denver’s professional athletes.
With a 12-foot closet in the primary suite, only the tallest owners won’t need to use the built-in ladder to reach the top shelf.
“I can envision a professional athlete here,” Stinson says. “It’s the kind of place where a bigger, taller person could feel small. Athletes don’t like to feel like they are a giant in their space.”
The home also includes a three-car garage with two lifts that can either provide space for additional vehicles or allow a mechanic to tinker.
With six bedrooms, the house also could be the perfect home for a family, Stinson says.
“It’s beautiful and the modern style appeals to a lot of people. I can easily envision several styles that would function in this space.”
