Mayor Michael Hancock has chosen 12 Denver projects to receive a 2022 Mayor’s Design Award.
The awards, presented annually since 2005, highlight excellence in architecture and design. The city announced the winners during a ceremony earlier this week.
“This year’s winning projects continue a wonderful tradition of demonstrating how design can advance key city goals like housing, sustainability and economic development while celebrating our city’s identity, history and culture,” Hancock said in a statement.

Burwell Center for Career Achievement: 2190 E. Asbury Ave.
Chicano/a/x Murals of Colorado Project: La Alma Lincoln Park Historic Cultural District and 2895 W. 8th Ave.
Milo Luxury Residences: 4109 E. 10th Ave.
Citizen West 10: 140 W. 10th Ave.
Colfax Is Colfax: Colfax Avenue from the Colorado State Capitol to East High School
Platte Street Plaza: 1553 Platte St.
Viña Apartments: 2121 E. 48th Avenue
Warren Residences: 1630 E. 14th Ave.
