A New York-based women’s apparel retailer is making its Colorado debut.
Veronica Beard, founded by sisters-in-law Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard in 2016, plans to open its first Colorado store at 250 Columbine St., Unit 115, in Cherry Creek this December.
“We have engaged customers in the area and the multifaceted lifestyle of the Cherry Creek woman is well aligned with the Veronica Beard brand ethos and product offering,” company spokesman Noel Garcia said in a statement to BusinessDen.
The company has leased 1,573 square feet previously used by local high-end women’s retailer Max Clothing, which moved into Evereve’s space at 250 Columbine St., Unit 140, this year after Evereve moved three doors down into Arc’teryx’s former space.
Veronica Beard sells its own brand of contemporary women’s apparel, including dresses, jackets, tops and pants ranging from $45 to $1,500. The company has 19 stores around the U.S. and in London, with 10 more slated to open in the next 12 months.
Legend Partners brokers Kelly Greene and Pete Pavlakis represented the landlord in the deal.
The retailers recently got a new landlord in Cherry Creek. Texas-based Crescent Real Estate paid $82.8 million in August last year to buy the eight-story building at 200 Columbine St. and the retail space in the 250 Columbine condo complex from Denver-based Western Development Group, according to public records.
