Following his trade from the Colorado Avalanche team to the Minnesota Wild in January, Ian Cole has put his University Park home on the market for $3 million.

The 6,220-square-foot mansion at 2477 S. Cook St. is owned by 2477 S. Cook LLC, which is managed by Cole and his wife Jordan, according to property records. The couple purchased the home for $1.9 million in 2018, the same year Cole began playing for the Avs.

Built in 2016, the six-bedroom, six-bathroom modern farmhouse features an open floor plan with “tons of natural light,” vaulted ceilings, and a fenced front and back yard, according to the listing.

Cole played hockey for the University of Notre Dame, and after his junior year was drafted by the St. Louis Blues and turned pro. After five seasons with the Blues, he went on to win two Stanley Cups in 2016 and 2017 with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The defenseman then played one season with the Columbus Blue Jackets before signing a three-year, $12.75 million deal with the Avs.

Cole played 138 games with the Avs, and then was traded in January to division rival Minnesota Wild for defenseman Greg Pateryn.

Another athlete who recently put his Denver home on the market is former Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler.

Address: 2477 S. Cook St., Denver

Listing price: $2.99 million

Stats: The two-story home sits half a mile from Observatory Park has 4,174 square feet above ground, plus a 1,710-square-foot finished basement with a kitchenette, a full bar and two en-suite bedrooms with walk-in closets and marble tiled bathrooms.

The finer things: On the main floor, there’s an office with glass doors, a gourmet kitchen with a giant island, stainless steel appliances and a beverage fridge.

Upstairs, the oversized master suite comes with its own fireplace, walk-in closet, motorized blackout shades and expansive bathroom with a jetted tub, large shower and double vanity.

Outside, there’s a three-car garage, patio, herb garden and Aspen trees lining the fence for privacy.
