A restaurant property along East Colfax Avenue has changed hands.
The 3,094-square-foot building at 7676 E. Colfax Ave., home to Ranch House Cafe, was purchased by Daniel Castro Properties for $950,000 on July 30, according to public records. Daniel Castro Alvarez, the registered agent for the buyer, could not be reached for comment.
The property was sold by Jolly Coffee Shop Inc., which purchased the building in 1996 for $220,000, records show. Lisa Christopoulos, who is the president of Jolly Coffee Shop, did not respond to a request for comment.
An employee at the restaurant, which has been serving “downhome, good food” for 35 years, said it was sold as part of the deal.
Ranch House offers a large menu of American breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes, and reopened for dine-in services in May.
