Blue Sparrow Coffee has officially flown onto Platte Street.
The coffee shop, which has operated in RiNo’s Backyard on Blake at 3070 Blake St. since April 2017, opened its second location at 1615 Platte St. on Friday.
The business owned by Jeffrey Knott and Fiona Arnold, president of Denver-based development firm Mainspring, takes up about 800 square feet. A yet-to-open cocktail bar is slated for the rest of the 2,200-square-foot unit.
The coffee shop is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. It’s on the ground floor of Unico Properties’ five-story Circa office building. WeWork is among the building’s office tenants.
Knott and Arnold also last month opened Queen’s Eleven, a cafe and bar in The Hub office building in RiNo.
