Denver Mayor Michael Hancock has chosen 12 Denver projects to receive a 2019 Mayor’s Design Award.
The awards, presented annually since 2005, highlight excellence in architecture, design and placemaking. The city announced the winners Thursday.
“These exceptional buildings and spaces are examples of design that is intentional and done with care, that improves our neighborhoods and our city, and that has the power to motivate and inspire,” Hancock said in a statement.
