‘Coliving’ is on its way to Union Station North.
The 12-story X Denver apartment complex, which according to development plans is slated to have 251 units, has been under construction at 3100 N. Inca St. since the fall.
It is being developed by New York-based Property Markets Group, and will be part of its X Social Communities portfolio, which magazine Fast Company has dubbed “upscale dorms for adults.”
The complexes rent both by the unit and by the bedroom, according to the brand’s website; the developer calls the latter “coliving.” Units can be furnished.
X complexes are already open in Chicago and Miami, and along with Denver are also planned in Phoenix; Oakland, California; and in Florida, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.
Tucked against the railroad tracks on Inca Street, the shell of six floors has been constructed for X Denver, with building cores rising above that.
Here are recent photos of the construction site (click for a larger view), as well a site map. While Property Markets has released a rendering showing an elaborate rooftop, no renderings showing the entire structure have been published.
