Brunch isn’t moving far.
The recently-closed Revelry Kitchen announced on its Facebook page that it will be moving into the 2,200-square-foot building at 3901 Tennyson St. in Berkeley.
Revelry’s website describes the eatery as a chef-driven breakfast, lunch and brunch restaurant. It opened in 2015 at 4140 W. 38th Ave., just a quarter-mile southeast of its new locale, and closed up shop there on May 28.
When it announced its impending closure last month, Revelry said it planned to reopen in a new location, but didn’t specify where at the time. The recent Facebook post doesn’t state when the restaurant expects to reopen.
Brokers Nathan Stern and Zack Cytryn represented Revelry in the deal for its new space.
Revelry will take up residence in what was most recently home to Tenya Japanese Soulfood, now listed on Yelp as “temporarily closed” (the last review is from late May). The Yelp page says the restaurant will reopen on August 25, but doesn’t specify where.
The Tennyson Street building has seen a revolving door of tenants since six-year-old Greek restaurant Axios Estiatorio closed in 2017. It was replaced by Kazan Ramen, which was then succeeded by Tenya last fall.

Don’t forget that the space held Brasserie Felix before Axios.
