A Denver nonprofit has sold its former office building a block from Coors Field for $9.25 million.
The Gill Foundation, which funds LGBT equality efforts, sold 2215 Market St. this week to Denver-based Confluent Development.
The sale includes the 16,000-square-foot building and the adjacent parking lot at the corner of Market and 22nd streets. The two parcels add up to 0.57 acres, according to property records.
The foundation paid $3.79 million for the building and $1.4 million for the parking lot in May 2001, according to records.
The Gill Foundation website once operated out of the building, but its website now lists its address as 1550 Wewatta St. The foundation did not respond to a request for comment.
Confluent President and CEO Marshall Burton said in a statement the company is “presently planning to secure tenants and re-lease the building.” Confluent already owns one building on the block – the company’s offices are at 2240 Blake St.
