Eyewear startup Warby Parker, which has raised more than $200 million from investors, leased space in LoDo and in Cherry Creek.

The company opened its first Colorado store on Pearl Street in Boulder in July. Now, the company will open inside the Cherry Creek Shopping Center and at the Dairy Block development.

A spokeswoman with Warby Parker confirmed the two locations.

Nick LeMasters, general manager at the Cherry Creek Shopping Center, said the brand will take over a 1,000-square-foot store that formerly belonged to Capital Teas, a Maryland-based company that went bankrupt in July.

Warby Parker applied for a commercial construction permit for tenant finishes on Dec. 22 for 1801 Blake St. The building was the former home of The Celtic Tavern and Delaney’s Bar.

The company sells glasses starting at $95 with prescription lenses. Prescription sunglasses start at $145.

It has two jobs posted in Denver. The company now has more than 60 retail stores.

Warby Parker was founded in Philadelphia in 2010 by four Wharton graduates. It focuses on online glasses sales – sending glasses to customers at home for them to try on. The brick-and-mortar locations are product showrooms and allow customers to have glasses adjusted. Some locations also do eye exams.
