Norton Rose Fulbright is moving up.
The law firm’s Denver office scooted across 17th Street earlier this month to occupy 10,000 square feet at 1225 17th St., a stone’s throw from its previous office in the Tabor Center.
“Our lease was up at Tabor Center and we had the opportunity to build out our own space and move up a couple of floors for better views,” said Bryon G. Farnsworth, who heads the international company’s Denver office.
The firm hired Burkett Design to design the 1225 17th office. The general contractor on the renovation was Max Construction. Sam DePizzol with CBRE represented Norton Rose in the transaction.
“We did a ground-up remodel. It was a blank slate,” Farnsworth said. “Now there’s a nice, sleek, modern look.”
Norton Rose moved into Denver in 2006 with a focus on energy, infrastructure, mining, health care and technology law. Farnsworth says the office, which has 12 attorneys and four staff, recently has grown its cybersecurity and data privacy unit and aims to maintain practice areas at their current levels.
Farnsworth joined the firm five years ago. He said one differentiator is the firm’s network of offices from the East Coast to the west.
“What really sets us apart is our global reach – that we have access to expertise in any area of law that you can imagine and any geographical area that clients would want to access,” he said.
