Parkifi is backing out of Larimer Square.

The startup, which monitors parking spaces using sensors, has listed its 15,000-square-foot office at 1451 Larimer St. for sublease on CoStar asking for monthly rent of $50,000. The space is marketed by Newmark Knight Frank.

Parkifi, a 3-year-old startup founded by former SendGrid employees Ryan Sullivan and Rishi Malik, also is tapping the brakes on staffing. A review of LinkedIn search results shows Parkifi has shed a dozen employees in four months.

Reached by phone, Sullivan acknowledged that the company was downsizing, but declined further comment. Former employees contacted by BusinessDen declined comment on the record.

According to SEC filings, the startup has raised at least $13.4 million since 2014. Its local investors include Galvanize Ventures, Foundry Group Angels, Grotech Ventures, Service Provider Capital and MergeLane.
