Denver boasted a bouquet of big home sales in June.

The most expensive house to sell last month was 910 Gaylord St., a Beaux Arts mansion bordering the Denver Botanic Gardens that traded for $5 million. The sale of the 1923 house came in $750,000 less than its listing price in April.

Outside the city limits, in Arapahoe County, June’s most expensive sale was a five-bedroom home at 4880 S. Franklin St. in Englewood, according to property records. The house in western Cherry Hills, which rests on 2.25 acres, sold for $4.5 million.

Below are sale specs for June’s five highest-priced residential sales in the Denver metro area, according to multiple listing service REColorado and area property records:

  • Kevin C. Mize bought an 8,680-square-foot home at 910 Gaylord St. from Emily Sinclair and John Kenney for $5 million. Julie Winger with Kentwood Real Estate represented the seller.
  • Sadie and Ryan Shaugnessy bought an 8,093-square-foot home at 4880 S. Franklin St. in Englewood from Daniel and Jeanne O’Shaughnessy for $4.5 million.
