Forget the mall walk: Cherry Creek shoppers now have a place to pedal.
Peloton, a New York-based stationary bike company, celebrated its opening day at Cherry Creek Shopping Center yesterday.
The firm sells a $2,000 stationary bike and touch screen that connects at-home cyclists to live cycling classes taught in its New York studio. Monthly subscriptions cost $40 for unlimited connections to live classes, where cyclists can see the stats of other participants.
Peloton announced its plans to move into the mall last month.
The city’s first Peloton location comes just a week after the company announced a $325 million capital raise, and that it plans to go public in the future. Denver is Peloton’s 21st U.S. showroom location.
