His private equity experience includes a director role at the private equity arm of Deutsche Bank and principal at Aurora Capital Group. He has an MBA and Ph.D. from the Wharton School of Business.

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck has hired Don Kortz to join the firm’s real estate department as counsel. Kortz recently retired from Cushman & Wakefield and was the inaugural president and CEO of the Rose Community Foundation. He is a law school graduate of the University of Denver.
