LoHi’s Zuni Street Brewing Co. is days away from opening the taps to the public.
Childhood friends Willy Truettner and T.J. Slattery hosted a soft opening for their new brewery and taproom adjoining Teatulia Tea Bar at 29th and Zuni streets on Wednesday. It opens to the public March 8.
Zuni Street Brewing leased its 3,500-square-foot spot, formally a garage, in March. To get started, it raised $400,000 in a private offering and another $21,000 on Kickstarter.
