Even the driving range is going high tech.
Texas driving range operator Topgolf opened its first Colorado location on Friday. The 65,000-square-foot facility, located at 10601 E. Easter Ave. in Centennial, is the company’s 20th facility.
The golf chain embeds each of its balls with computer chips to track how far they’re hit. Each visitor’s score is recorded and sent to daily and weekly leaderboards to see how they measure up.
BusienssDen reported in May that Topgolf originally planned to open the facility this spring, but the facility’s construction was delayed by bad weather.
